Would it be possible to get a copy of the BPC RiskManager V6 installation guide?

Yes. Obviously, you get a copy with the install set for the BPC RiskManager, but you can also get a copy before installing.

The best approach to installation is to let the auto installer do it for you, and then a manual is not really required.

There is an installation instructions manual in pdf and another structured version on this riskwiki. The manual covers installation of all components, and includes the discussions of the architectural considerations. The documents are extremely detailed and assume very little knowledge of the windows environment, so it even covers installing the some 'not always installed' windows components such as the MS SQL Server (2000, 2005, 2008- with notes for Express), MS IIS server, and the MS SMTP server - which are Microsoft components, rather than BPC components. So essentially you can install from a raw MS operating system installation and just follow the installation guide. It covers installation on W2000, W2003, W2008, W2008-64, XP, Vista-Sp1, and Windows 7.

The best manual to use for installation is the riskwiki - as we update that first.
